Having trouble uploading ID?

ID Image Upload Requirements

tZERO Securities may require a Document Verification with your application in order to verify your identity.

1) You may receive a request for additional information which may include a request for ID:

See General Onboarding Questions | tZERO Help Center for acceptable IDs.

The request will come via SMS for US customers or Emailed to scan “QR code” for International customers.

2) Click Start Verification

3) Click “Agree” to consent to term and consent

4) Select the ID being uploaded and follow instructions on screen.

All IDs must meet the following criteria:

  • All four corners of your ID must be visible against a contrasting backdrop

  • Do not hold your ID when taking a photo

  • Do not have a glare when taking the photo

  • Do not take a screenshot of an existing image

Most smartphones have a camera that is able to take a photo that meets the above requirements.
